As a child each of us dreamed of having a real Christmas with real Santa Claus, real Christmas tree and Christmas ornaments and real snow….

You better check our list of best Christmas celebration places to find the pleasant feeling of Christmas spirit.

1.Lapland, Finland

This small land needs to be called a really amazing place as it is believed that a real Santa Claus lives at the Arctic Circle in Lapland. You can come to visit him and get deeply into the job with his assistants to prepare traditional biscuits and even sit on his lap, if you have not done this in childhood. If you do not want to stand with the willing crowd in front of the official residence Yolopukki, located in Rovaniemi, go to his deputy, to the town of Kuusamo. It is believed that local Santa speaks all the languages so you do not have to fear that Santa Claus had misunderstood what you put forth.

2.Granada, Spain

In Spain you can not just lie on the beach in the hot summer, but anyways a better place for a Christmas tale than city of Granada, it is difficult to think. Towering in the distance snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada, where there is a great ski resort, and the magical and majestic Alhambra Palace very close to creating the most appropriate atmosphere for the holiday. Here you can wander through the cozy, typically Spanish, streets, or get lost in the winding alleyways of the Muslim quarter Albasin. I always pause in the city until January 5, when the Spaniards celebrate El día de los Reyes, Three Kings Day. The festive atmosphere will be felt even during the breakfast, which in this day traditionally consists of strewn pieces of fruit pudding and a cup of thick hot chocolate. We can meet Santa Claus in this day is impossible, but you can admire the fantastic royal parade – a miniature carnival with a merry costumed procession and scattered the crowd of sweets and candies.

3.Oslo, Norway

Undoubtedly, Norway can claim the title of the most snow-white country in the world. I see this most easily by going to the Holmenkollen – located on a hill suburb of Oslo. This can be reached by subway or a trip to a reindeer sleigh. It is in Holmenkollen, among the red and yellow houses, the locals gather to drink mulled wine and crunch to traditional Christmas cookies. By the way, along with Santa if you see a festively dressed dwarf – do not be surprised, but rather make a wish. This is a local Santa Claus, whom they call Yulenissen.

4.New York, USA

Christmas in America – is the embodiment of Commerce: Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, brightly lit by Radio City, the endless sales and lively rollers create a local holiday atmosphere. The first shot of the film “Home Alone” fully reflect reality. Perhaps, only here know how to celebrate Christmas at the same time comfortable and with imperial scale. Go to the Brooklyn Bridge, look carols in Times Square and walk around the city, looking trim. Route map can be bought almost anywhere.

5.Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam can offer much more than the well-known coffee shops and quarter the red light. The narrow alleys and quaint canals create the atmosphere of the city of angels. Decorated in honor of the holiday windows and falling here and there, Christmas markets beckon its lights. Every free angle, or area are occupied by rollers- both young and old. A prototype of Santa Claus, St. Nicholas is the patron saint of Holland, so here all of your dreams will surely be heard, and desires fulfilled. If there is a wish to visit the Christmas Mass, it is best to go to the Museum Amstelkring – a secret church, located in the attic of the house in the heart of the quarter “red light”.
6.Edinburgh, Scotland

Christmas in Edinburgh is like a walk in the distant medieval past, during the traditional royal exits and bagpipe playing Christmas songs. Countless festivals, gala concerts, performances of choirs and cabaret, heavy dinners, when the table is breaking with food, start here from the beginning of December. And do not miss the parade of fire on Jan. 29, when about one and a half thousand people march for the Viking spacecraft on the streets, and then came to the central square, holding a grand bonfire, and fireworks.

7.Nuremberg, Germany

Christmas City “number one” in Germany, known primarily for its fair Kristkindlesmarkt. Every year in the city center, this town is built of wood and cloth, where the walk cinnamon and mulled wine, the smell of the Nuremberg sausages, roasted almonds and traditional pies. The market act dance and music ensembles and, of course, you can buy all sorts of gifts. If you have a desire to hide from the hustle and bustle – take a look at the house Volfshera They made a very interesting exhibition on the history of Christmas fairs. Each year, the exhibition adds a new section, one way or another connected with Christmas. This unique collection of Christmas motifs, and an exhibition of nurseries, and an exhibition courier carriages, which, by the way, you can ride. Ribbon displays stretched across the city, and come here less than a week is simply not worth it.

8.Prague, Czech Republic

They say that even in the warmest winter for Christmas in Prague is snowing. Therefore, a night walk through the mystical city, lay covered with fluffy crunchy snow, you provided.People here prefer to decorate the living plants in tubs. And buy them a countless number of – not only in the central squares of the city, but in every store . Another awesome thing is the device exhibits dedicated to the events of Bethlehem. And, here fantasy has no limits. And in churches you can witness a play with the whole theatrical performances with the wise men, angels and the Virgin Mary. On the streets everywhere selling mulled wine, so it is impossible to freeze.

9.Rome, Italy

In Italy, the snow – a miracle in any season, even in the dead of winter. But to meet Christmas, this did not interfere, despite the fact that there main blooming orange trees and slender cypresses and verdant palm trees clearly indicate that the cold weather in this blessed city is simply not the case. Grouped around the potted trees are perceived here as exotic plants rather than as an attribute of the Nativity. A huge Christmas tree to Vatican annually receives a gift from other countries, put the central squares of the city. The cafe smell of roasted chestnuts, Christmas cookies and chocolate. And at Piata Navona open traditional fair domestic sweets, Christmas figurines, and other crafts. And of course, in the Eternal City is certainly worth a visit on the festive Mass, which are conducted in all councils.

10.Cities named in honor of Christmas

And, finally, you can organize a unique Christmas trip. No, this is not a simple tour to the place which are popular with their Christmas celebrations, but rather to the towns with the Christmas names . Such tours can be done throughout US.

For example, in Florida Christmas, located between Orlando and Kennedy Space Center. Streets here are named after the famous reindeer, all the mailboxes are decorated with Santa. And there is also a decorated Christmas tree at the entrance to town, which is held there all year round.
You can also spend Christmas in the town of Santa Claus, Indiana. Summer visitors here attracts an amusement park, but in winter, all aimed at meeting a gay Christmas. Tourists waiting for the museum of Santa Claus, Gingerbread House, and above all, a grand festival.

Despite the fact that there are a lot of advertisements about legend-associated places, they are not always meeting our expectations . Some of them seem to be disappointing when being visited, as the myths and legends are too much of a fairy-tale based. To solve such a problem we offer you to have a look at the list below and find out fresh reasons to visit these wonderlands. Our top list will give you an opportunity to have a newer look at the listed countries. This is especially true while talking about the possibility of making new discoveries and getting acquainted with multiple mysterious and fabulous places.

1. Chillon, Switzerland

Switzerland can not be called a land of oil, gold but instead it has wonderful mountains, ski resorts, waterfalls and a rich variety of lakes. One of the symbols of this country is mystical castle of Chillon. It impressed the famous writer and lord Bayron so badly that we wrote the poem “Chillon Prisoner”. And soon after he left his autograph on one of the columns, something like “The lord was here”. This was just a joke. But anyways the researchers consider this castle to be a masterpiece. Another place to visit is the castle Gruyere, where you can find the pieces of the legend about the giants- Willrich Steel hand and Clerembo and except that there is also a museum of fantasy over there. Here the halls are not decorated in traditional art crafts; you find goblins and fays, which are painted on the height of the Alpine mountains. At the neighborhood you’ll find the legendary castle of Saint-Germain, where you’ll be able to witness the works of the Oscar winner Hans-Rudi designer, who made the special effects for the movie “Alien.” The fantastical features included in the exposition are not offered for those who feel sick while getting scared. This is especially true about the part with the aliens.

2. Petra,Jordan

If you want to get into the real decorations of the tale “Hundred and One Nights”, you better visit Jordan. The local legends are popular mixture of Bible stories and folk stories. The most enthusiastic spot is undoubtedly Petra. This town made of scarlet and rose rocks is considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. According to the legend the main part was built by the Egyptian pharaoh, who was following Jews- running away from the slavery to find the Holy land. So the king made the castle of El-Khaznu, to hide all the wealth that was preventing him to overtake the Jews. He never came back to get his gold as he was drown together with all of his crew close to the Red Sea. So it is believed that somebody will find it for sure if he/she will be able to find the secret way that takes there. The gold searching was so tough that every single statue has been shot and removed constantly. The next legend associated with this land is the Sodom and Gomorra towns’ legend. God got angry at the inhabitants of these towns and washed them by the salty waters of the Dead Sea. Despite this story you’ll be able to spend an awesome time here.

3. Langkawi, Malaysia

Malaysian Langkawi is called to be the “Island of the Legends”. There are so many legends sewn around the place that no one knows exactly which one was the first. The most popular one is telling about the girl named Mansuri. She was so pretty that everyone was devoting her poems and songs. When she grew up they organized her wedding with the son of the tribe leader- Darus. All the inhabitants were invited. Everybody was jealous about Mansuri and especially the wife of the tribe leader- Mandora. Later when Darus went for the fighting and a stranger-singer came to the place Mansuri wasn’t able to refuse to give a nightspot to him. The islanders decided that this was a cheating and killed Mansuri. Before her death the young innocent lady cursed the island for 7 generations. The entire story was overlapped at the year of 1986, when the 7th generation of Mansuri was born- a girl named Aisha. And so during 20 with something years the island turned into a land of tourism. Also here you can taste the local fruit called durian. As to the islanders this fruit smells rather bad, but the taste is terrific. Despite the unusual smell it is good to know that you can’t combine this fruit with any kind of alcohol and even with light cocktails.

4. Chinabalu,Kalimantan

This island is also known as Borneo and is situated on the Pacific Ocean. It is still inhabited with various tribes who are telling seizing stories and legends. One of this is telling about the mountain Chinabalu- the highest top of the South-eastern Asia. Its name translated from the old-Malaysian is “Chinese widow”. The story goes like this: there used to live a huge dragon on the island. He was the only dragon left that’s why he was so unfriendly. He was protecting a giant pink pearl and at the afternoons he was eating up the Indians who were coming to steal it. The dragon was finally defeated by a Chinese prince. The saved pearl was gifted to the prettiest girl on the island and soon they got married. Later on the brave prince started missing his homeland and moved back to China. His poor wife cried so much that she turned into a stone. The frequent rains are also being associated with the legend. There is also a newer legend which states that the name of the mountain can be translated as the “Mountain of the Spirits”. So those who are leaving us are being moved to the top of the mountain.

5. Rome,Italy

Our last but not the least legend is about the founding of the city of Rome by the twin brothers, Romulus and Remus. Their mother got pregnant, some say by Mars, the god of war. Their great-uncle recognized that Romulus and Remus were more than human and attempted to have them killed. The servant left the basket with the brothers on the river Tiber, which was in flood. They were found by a she-wolf who suckled them and fed them. A swineherd later found the babies and brought them up. When they grew up they decided to build a city of their own in despite of serving the king. During an argument one of the brothers killed the other one. Romulus buried Remus, and carried on with building his city. The city was named to be Rome after the powerful brother who reigned Rome for 38 years. Then it is told to be that Romulus disappeared in a violent storm, and it was announced that he had been taken up to heaven, from where he would continue to look after Rome’s destiny as the god Quirinus does. This legend makes the story of the Rome even more seizing and especially the fact of rather active nightlife of the city make it worth to visit.

The British Library holds an exhibition of photographs of middle of the XIX century, brought by British photographers from distant travelling. These are the first images of the remote corners of the world, which left an indelible impression on the British Victorian era. The desire of people to see the places in faded, black and white photographs with their own eyes can be considered the beginning of the era of tourism. People started to travel not in search of commercial gain or conquest expeditions, but they started the long-distance travel for the sole purpose – to satisfy their own curiosity.

Shoshenq Yard, Karnak, Egypt
Photographer: Francis Frith, 1850
Emerged in the middle of the XIX century, the first photos of architectural monuments caused such a wild interest of public that not only spurred the development of the photographic industry, but also created a new market for photographic postcards.

Colosseum, Rome, Italy
Photographer: Calvert Richard Jones, 1846
In subsequent decades the photography experienced a rapid growth and constant improvement of technology.

Moscow, Russia
Photographer: unknown, 1841
The camera has become an indispensable attribute of the traveler, and images brought back from distant places were the best souvenir. And this is especially in an era when photography had not yet received the widespread distribution and was considered a very expensive hobby.

Boulevards of Paris, France
Photographer: William Henry Fox Talbot, 1843
Disappointed by his own inability to draw, the English scientist William Henry Fox Talbot worked to improve the methods of photography. And he achieved a considerable success in this. He also became the publisher of the world’s first book, illustrated with photos.

View of Seine, Paris, France
Photographer: Charles Louis Chevalier, 1843
The first company specialized in organizing trips was founded by Thomas Cook. Already in the fifties of the XIX century a group trip to Paris and Northern Europe has become commonplace for the British. People wishing to spend 11 pounds on the cognitive and pleasant trip turned out to be thousands, and by the end of the century the “Thomas Cook and Son” company has expanded its activities also in the New World.

Royal Opera House, Madrid, Spain
Photographer: Charles Clifford, 1853
Born Welshman Charles Clifford settled in Madrid in 1850, where he got carried away filming Spanish architecture, and actively inculcated countrymen interested in Spanish culture and traditions.

Ramesseum, Thebes, Egypt
Photographer: Francis Frith, 1857
Having stood for thousands of years the monuments of ancient Egypt were under threat of extinction in the XIX century because of the rapidly growing number of homegrown archaeologists and European museums that were enthusiastically buying up antiquity. Francis Frith considered photography to be an essential tool for capturing fast disappearing form of historical monuments.

Palm trees and mimosa, Calabash, Egypt
Photographer: Félix Teynard, 1841
Civil engineer Felix Teynard systematically documented all the major Egyptian sites near Cairo, and left the “descendants ” hundreds of photos.

Books with illustrated photographs began to appear in the 60-ies of the XIX century as a luxury item and were then available only to wealthy people. But gradually the development of photography and printing business made photo albums available also to the middle class, which also underpinned a rapid increase in the army of travelers.

Adolph Brown, who replaced the craft of engineer with the camera, became one of the first professional photographers, specializing in shooting landscapes, and it worked successfully in the emerging industry of photographic postcards.

The invention of photography coincided with a period of unprecedented expansion of European colonization. A rapid development of the transport network, which was headed by a steam engine, made possible not only the active international trade, but also the mass tourism.

If you like to read books, then from time to time you, most likely, close your eyes and try to imagine, how this or that place looks: whether there was a really city described by the author, or everything is just a fiction? Instead of guessing, it`s better to collect a backpack and go to travel in places where William Shakespeare lived, where Charles Dickens created where people still remember Ernst Heminguey. Here is the list of 10 cities all fans of the literature should visit.

1. London, Great Britain
Many well-known authors either were born in the capital of the Great Britain, or have lived here the most part of a life, and, certainly, have described this city in their works. So, Charles Dickens’s admirers can visit his house which has become a museum, fans of detective histories of sir Arthur Conan Doyle will try to find five-six places where great detective Sherlok Holmes conducted investigation, and by all means will visit his “residence” on Baker Street 221b. There will be everything for all of them who are interested in art of Jeffrey Choser, John Keats, Herbert Wells.

2. Stratford-Upon-Avon, Great Britain
There will hardly be a person in the world who never heard about William Shakespeare. And consequently every year Stratford-Upon-Avon – city where the well-known writer was born – is visited by about 3 million people. Here you can see the museum of the English genius, theater and many other sightseeings connected with a name of the well-known playwright.

3. Edinburgh, Scotland
A lot of world literature classics have lived and wrote in this city: sir Arthur Conan Doyle, sir Walter Scott, Robert Louis Stevenson. Today Edinburgh had a new literary symbol – Joanne Rowling, the author of the well-known story about Harry Potter. If you wish to learn about all writers and the poets ever been in this place, simply visit the Museum of writers. By the way, Edinburgh was the first to be recognized “as a city of the literature” by UNESCO.

4. Dublin, Ireland
Many new ideas and innovative products were born in this country and especially in its capital. For example the “Dublins” or “Ulis” of James Joyce. In XX century Samuel Beckett has created here the concept of absurdity drama. And if you ever come to be on the far northern island, by all means visit not only the museum of writers and National library of Ireland, but also take a glance to the literary pub Crawl.

5. New York, USA
It would be surprising, if no writer has settled in “the Big Apple”. Such authors of bats-generations, as Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg have lived here for some time. The city became the arena of one of literary revolutions of XX century – the so-called “Harlem Renaissance”, which has given such popular afroamerican authors, as Zora Neale Hurston or Langston Hughes.

6. Concord, Massachusetts, USA
Though Concord is only a small town with 20 thousand inhabitants, it has played the important role in the history of the American literature. In the beginning of XIX century there lived the most popular authors of that time Ralph Waldo Emerson and Gotorn, and in 1817 the American philosopher and writer David Toro was born here.

7. Paris, France
Paris has been the center of the French and European culture for a long time. Writers, artists, musicians from all world longed for getting to this city . And that`s why many writers remember it`s streets , starting from the giants of the French literature, such, as Voltaire, Victor Hugo, Alexander Duma and Onore de Balzac, and finishing with newcomers from far America which ran to Paris to find sexual, religious or personal freedom among which were Gertrude Stein, Ernest Hemingway and Francis Scott Fitzgerald.

8. San Francisco, California, USA
As well as New York, this city is also connected first of all with bats-generations. After, Ginsberg and Kerouac have left “the Big Apple” for the various reasons, they have settled here and have brought not only a unique literary style, but also fans from all over the state. ”Beatnik`s”admirers necessarily should visit cafe “Vesuvius” – Jack Kerouac’s favourite place. The author of “Tropic of Cancer” Henry Miller also passed some time in vicinities of San Francisco.

9. Rome, Italy
Ancient Rome is the birthplace of many antique writers and the philosophers who have affected all European art. In this city the author of “Eneida” of Virgilio created for some time. Later on, inspired by ancient beauty of ancient city, Percy Shelley with his wife Mary Shelley, Keats and Henry James have lodged in Rome.

10. St.-Petersburg, Russia
Petersburg was always the important city for the Russian literature. Alexander Pushkin and Lev Tolstoy, Anton Chekhov and Fyodor Dostoevsky, Nikolai Gumilev and Anna Akhmatova were passing by the streets of the second Russian capital in XIX-XX centuries. Among the most visited literary museums are Pushkin’s last haven on Moyka and Dostoevsky’s apartment on the Kuznechny lane.

The police of Germany demanded to prohibit the selling of alcohol at the stations of the country, especially during the period when football matches are held. Moreover, during these days the passengers will not be able to bring a drink with them even to the car. The fact is that the burden on police in the days of football games has grown in recent years. The result is that fans every now and then strive to get into a fight, especially in a state of intoxication. Having forbidden the selling of alcoholic drinks at railway stations, police hopes to at least partly avoid clashes with the football fans.

Representatives of the Unions of German police officers held talks with the largest rail carrier of Germany Duetshe Bahn and the administration of the German Football Association. Duetshe Bahn has previously said that although he is not opposed to consider the possibility of ban on alcohol, nevertheless, opposes the imposition of harsh restrictive measures. According to the company, problems with drinking may occur only on the days of mass events, and in ordinary days a bottle of beer will not bring harm to any of the passengers.

One of the leading private carriers in Germany has already announced a ban on the use of alcohol on the trains – it is Metronom, a company operating in the North of the country. From November 15, 2009 it will be banned not only to drink, but also carry glass bottles. The reason for this decision was the outrageous behavior of drunken fans in the cars.

It was calculated in Metronom, that the excesses of rowdies annually cost the company 500 thousand Euros, and that’s without counting the costs for cleaning the trains from the resulted mess. The carrier asked the passengers and found out that 4200 from 5000 travelers agreed on the need to ban alcohol on trains.

The actions of baning alcohol wasn’t invented in Germany it was . For example, in Australia, in the “great race”, being held in New South Wales, the fans were ordered to drink no more than 24 cans of beer a day, or 4 liters of wine. The police of Australia introduced such severe restrictions to protect the spectators of Bathurst 1000 from the drunken rampages of fans.

At the end of May 2009 in Rome, in the final game of the Champions League, which went to see 67 thousand tourists, fans, city authorities, the selling of alcohol was banned for almost two days beforehand. And the ban on the sale of alcohol was being acted throughout the city, including airports, train stations and other transport terminals.

In Moscow, the authorities plan to ban the sale of distilled spirits in bars and restaurants of the capital’s airports, explaining it with the fact that airport is a place of increased danger, therefore, to sell alcohol there is illegal or at least dangerous.

Trip Advisor the largest travel portal based on the opinions of its visitors concluded a list of ten cities, where you should closely monitor your wallet. Most pickpockets are active in the places of tourist’s maximum accumulation around the historic sites, but sometimes fraudsters in the quest for stranger’s purse are ingenious and have a good knowledge of psychology.

1. Barcelona

Merry tourist bustle on the broad sidewalks in Rambla is an ideal habitat for pickpockets. Once visited Barcelona the visitors often note that putting hands in the pockets of other people in this city has become a sort of a national sport. So before you freeze in admiration for the creations of Gaudi, hide your wallet a little deeper, or you will have to earn for a return ticket by sweeping the pavements in front of the creations of the great architect.

2. Rome

The striking architecture of the ancient city, full of historical events, leads tourists to such an excitement that they totally forget to monitor their wallets and cameras, which is not missed by smart local pickpockets. In the crowd of thousands of people who admire the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, hunters for another person’s property may be more than the tourists themselves.

3. PragueIncredibly beautiful and extremely narrow Charles Bridge is decorated with 30 beautiful statues in Baroque style. Every day tens of thousands of tourists are going to look at it, that’s why the bridge is crowded, as in the subway at rush hour. The tourist, trying to hold for a figure of good fortune and not be swept away with the passing crowd is a perfect victim for the pickpocket. Keep this in mind when, after drinking the excellent Czech beer, you will embrace the pedestal of the statue of St. John.

4. Madrid

Picturesque El Rastro – Madrid’s flea market is often mentioned as the most dangerous place for your pocket. Nor should you relax in museums, which are numerous in Madrid. Victims celebrate the incredible ingenuity of Madrid crooks. For example, a pretty senorita can point you to God knows a suddenly appeared stain on your jacket and begins to remove it with his handkerchief, and “casual” passers-by would help her. The result is obvious – you have no money, no camera, and no documents.

5. Paris

In Paris pickpockets are particularly active in the train from the airport Charles de Gaulle to the downtown. And their targets are often not only the tourists loaded with luggage, but also the Parisians themselves. And, of course, as usual, do not relax in the metro, museums, and at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

6. Florence

Florence is not inferior to the capital in the number of attractions, crowds of admiring tourists, and perhaps that not inferior in the number of virtuoso pickpockets. So, after looking at the majestic beauty of David by Michelangelo, instead of telling your friends the biblical story, it is better to get a stronger hold on your wallet.

7. Buenos Aires

Minor crooks of the capital of Argentine, basically use the same scheme as their Spanish counterparts. If during the inspection of the Colon Opera House stranger points you to the bird droppings on your shoulder and will kindly offer you to clean off with his napkin, which he already holds ready, get away from him. Otherwise, he will quickly clean your pockets.

8. Amsterdam

Amsterdam can easily lead travelers to a relaxed state by its friendly relaxed atmosphere, and tourists are often caught in the channels or into the hands of thieves, for whom it causes no difficulty to turn inside the pockets of a traveler overstayed in coffee shops.

9. Athens

Legendary ancient city is full of white marble of ancient monuments, and tourists can easily sink into the atmosphere of ancient Greek myths, completely forgetting about the modern dangers. As long as the eyes admire the perfection of the Parthenon on the Acropolis, the hand should firmly hold the bag.

10. Hanoi

The old quarter of the capital of Vietnam is literally strewn with the monuments of colonial architecture and hundreds of temples and pagodas, which attract crowds of tourists, and tourists, in their turn, attract fans of easy money. However, except for small thieves, we can say that Hanoi is one of the safest cities in the world.

Relax on the bed, where presidents sleep, sit on the chair, like an Arab sheik, or feel like a Hollywood star is quite simple. All you need to do is to book a hotel room for several thousands of dollars a day.

1. The Royal Penthouse Suite, President Wilson Hotel, Geneva

65,000 USD per night

Leaders in the 2009 list of the most expensive hotels became the rooms in the Geneva hotel. Despite the astronomical cost of the royal penthouse occupying the entire top floor of President Wilson Hotel, it’s not so easy to book. For this purpose you may need to talk to the general manager of the hotel. There are four bedrooms with windows facing Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, six bathrooms in the room. The safety of the guests of the luxury apartment is guaranteed, as the windows and doors in the room are bulletproof. Guests do not have to deal with other guests of the hotel. He/she will be able to get to a penthouse on a personal elevator. Presidents and prime ministers should pay attention to this proposal: hence it is very convenient to get to the headquarters of the UN. A car can be reached in just 5 minutes.

2.Ty Warner Penthouse, Four Seasons Hotel, New York

35,000 USD per night

This suite, which first opened to the public in 2007, has 9 rooms, the walls of which are inlaid with thousands of pieces of nacre. The rooms are peaceful, so that the guest can think of issues of national importance. There is also a Zen garden set in the Penthouse, there is a room for the SPA procedures and a spacious library, where you can hold musical parties. There is a grand piano in the center of the hall.

3. The Presidential Suite, Hotel Cala di Volpe, Costa Smeralda, Sardinia

34,000 USD per night

There is everything in multi-level apartments necessary for an Arab sheik or a president of the company: three bedrooms, three bathrooms, its own gym, steam room and even a wine cellar. There is swimming pool with sea water. Do you like the room? Hurry up to live in it till June. In summer, prices will increase up to 10 thousand dollars.

4.Villa La Cupola Suite, Westin Excelsior, Rome

31,000 USD per night

Once being in these luxurious apartments, located on the fifth and sixth floors of the hotel, you cannot help thinking of the excessive luxury of ancient Rome. Everything here is a little too much: a Jacuzzi Pompeian-style frescoes and stained glass windows, on which the mythological figures coexist with allegories of our time. So, you’re surprised to distinguish the image of the Atlas and Television, Hypnosis and Neurosis, Hermes and Marketing, with huge balconies overlooking the famous Via Veneto.

5. The Presidential Suite, Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo

25,000 USD per night

A room worth of adoption within its walls the head of any state of the world, is located on the top floor of the tallest building of Tokyo. It offers spectacular views of Mount Fuji and the urban landscapes of the Japanese capital.

6. The Bridge Suite, The Atlantis, Bahamas

22,000 USD per night

Apartments, located on the twenty-third floor, will remain in the memories of a guest with their beautiful marble floors and chandeliers made of 22-carat gold. Previously, this room was called “Suite of Michael Jackson”, because he liked to stay there.

7. The Imperial Suite, Park Hyatt Vendome, Paris

20,000 USD per night

The key concept of the room is SPA, because it has a special bath with whirlpool, steam room and a special room with a massage table. But visitors can be taken to a huge living room, dine in the dining room and work in office equipped with the latest technology.

8. Royal Suite, Burj Al Arab, Dubai

19,600 USD per night

It was built in 1990 in the form of a giant sail hotel, which has today become a real symbol of Dubai. The interior decoration is made in oriental style. The quintessence of Arabian luxury is in the royal suite: there are marble floors, leopard carpets, its own elevator and a rotating bed under a beautiful canopy on the twenty-fifth floor of the hotel.

9. Armleder Royal Suite, Le Richemond, Geneva

18,900 USD per night

The most luxurious hotel room is named after a wealthy family, who owned the hotel till 2004. Two-bedroom suite is located on the seventh floor. There are three bedrooms and a huge terrace with a panoramic view of Lake Geneva. However, those who constantly feared assassination, it is better not to appear on the balcony and admire the surroundings through the bulletproof window.

10. The Ritz-Carlton Suite, The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow

16,500 USD per night

The top ten list is closed by the room in the Ritz-Carlton hotel. The most luxurious suite in Moscow was the less expensive one. The interior is decorated in Russia’s imperial style. The rooms have a view of the most popular sights, including the Kremlin and Red Square.

Because of an extremely high temperature with increased humidity, the level of danger in Rome, Bologna, Milano, Perugia, Brescia and Latina was set to three, which is the highest one. The daytime temperature in these cities gets over 40 degrees while the humidity is no less than 40%. Italian Civil Defense Service started to undertake measures in order to protect the population and tourists.

In the nearest time the extraordinary climatic situation will affect some more Italian towns – Messina, Civitavecchia, Florence, Venice, Trieste, Rieti, and Bolzano. The weather forecasters suggest that such high temperature will stay for another week before it starts to drop.

In Roman subway the staff of Civil Defense Service gives away free bottles with mineral water to the passengers. In Bolzano a special rest home with air-conditioners was opened where one can wait through the heat, in Vicenza there is an emergency service setup to delivery products to those who cannot stand the heat. The highest temperatures are expected in the nearest couple of days in Messina; the tourists visiting this town are asked to take precaution measures.

Health Ministry of Italy warns tourists and inhabitants that in such heat they should consume more water, eat only light food and if possible not to be in the open air from 11:00 until 18:00. They are also advised to take a warm shower more often, use protective creams and not to leave people and pets in parked cars.

It is worth remembering that in the summer of 2007 more than 700 people in Europe died of excruciating heat. The state of emergency was also announced in Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria as well as in Serbia and Croatia; Greece, Portugal, Macedonia and Italy were terrorized by the forest fires.
