Do you have any plans to enjoy your summer vacation with a beer bottle in your hand? Well, for the true beer lover it’s not a secret!

Beer lovers around the world do not sit on the lawn with a bottle of beer in their hands; they prefer to spend time in some cozy spots- beer garden, huge places with thousands of guests, cafes in open air. Tradition of all of this comes from Germany, where thousands of such establishments are present for all those who enjoy spending some part of the day with those just like them. However, the idea got spread among the rest of the lovers of beer and today in other countries there are institutions like Melbourne, and in Beijing. Here are 10 of the most famous of them.

Hofbräuhaus, Munich, Germany

It feels like on several floors of the oldest largest brewery in Munich there’s an eternal “Oktoberfest”. Buxom girl in a frank and wide neckline pleated skirts are walking around the huge hall with giant liter Maas mugs. In the center of the room there’s a small orchestra of several men in leather trousers playing folk music in traditional Bavarian tunes. Not without its beer garden: some visitors even in winter sit outdoors on the spacious yard. In the menu reigns is pork: here they even make a salad from it. And be sure to try weisswurst – traditional white Munich sausages, which are usually submitted with the freshest pretzels, cookies and sweet mustard.

Café Vlissinghe, Bruges, Belgium

This pub which is tucked away in a quiet area of St Anne’s is the oldest in the city. It was discovered in 1515. Over the past centuries and today beer lovers drop in drink lager and play surrounded by ancient stone walls of the courtyard one of the Italian games – bochi. And when the weather conditions do not give you the chance to do so, you can sit in the living fire in a cozy room, sipping some of the local beer specialties, for example, Tripel Karmeliet of caramelized malt or Framboise Belle Vue – wheat beer with raspberry. Food for beer offered is the most varied: from wrapped in bacon cheese, goat cheese with honey to simple pasta with cheese or sausage.

Wudaokou Beer Garden, Beijing, China

I bet some of you will agree that thee least expected to see the real German beer garden is in China. Nevertheless, Beijing has its own large outdoor beer places. It feels to be something from the rural fairs: beer and snacks are sold under a huge central tent, and around the tables is an ideal spot for the noisy young men of the town and foreign students to spend time. While choosing the food, you can travel around the world: Chinese dumplings and Korean barbecue, side by side here with American hot dogs. The brand beer Tsingtao and Yangjing are sold at a very affordable price – about a dollar for a big bottle.

Letna Beer Garden, Prague, Czech Republic

This pub located on the top of pub LETINSKIY park has a magnificent view of the Old Town and the majestic ancient bridges thrown over the Vltava. The situation is very simple: the famous Czech beer Gambrinus is bottled in simple plastic cups. Of food recommend try one of the delicious smelling appetizing pizzas with mushrooms, artichokes, olives and ham.

Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden, New York, USA

Bar in the fresh air of the Queens is a favorite place for yuppies and immigrants, reminiscing about their favorite European pubs. Here everyone has fun all year round: in the shade of trees on sunny days and under tent on the rain or even snow. This beer garden can be found when following the lovely smell coming from the forthcoming barbeque and authentic Czech dumplings and sausages. Washing them down can be down with the help of classic European beer Staropramen, Hoegaarden or Krusovice, which can be poured by $ 15 per jug.

The Flask Tavern, London, UK

Here the pub is housed in former stables, built in 1633. As any respectable British institution, the beer is settled by a ghost bartender, who committed suicide because of the unrequited love. At this point, there is everything that you expect to see in a British pub: cider Bulmers and Westons, fish, chips, and in summer on an open fire cook hamburgers, steaks and pork sausages. Jumping on the bar is not recommended, do everything quietly.

Luong Son, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Despite the plastic chairs and low prices, it is quite decent pub with excellent quality of food and understanding of English among the waiters. It is worth visiting if only for the delicious BBQ beef and garlic or deep fried scorpions, which you can prepare by your own (isn’t it amazing?). To freshen up during the meal we recommend a cold Saigon beer – the best drink during the Vietnam heat and the best offer of the place.

Café Sound Garden, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Sitting at the bar with live alternative music, darts and graffiti, you can admire the boats and barges moving slowly on the surface of the channel nearby. Beer at this place is much cheaper than in other Amsterdam restaurants (eg, 2,5 dollars per Poperings Hommelbier). Choice is simply huge: about 15 varieties of bottled beer and about 5 tapped. Meals are not made to be cook on the spot, they are mostly transported from neighboring establishments. So, you will try from the range of kebab lamb from the Turkish restaurant up to crisps from the French one.

Augustiner Bräu Kloster Mülln, Salzburg, Austria

What is the best thing about this place? It’s that you do not have to look for a free space, because it exists in the XVII century pub, which is designed to fit for fifteen thousand visitors. However, they are seldom less than a thousand, because in this beer garden they offer whole 9 varieties of superb beer Augustiner! To purchase snacks you simply need to stroll past the nearby grocery stores and select anything from traditional dishes such as smoked mackerel salad with horseradish or something more compatible to your taste.

Belgian Beer Café Bluestone, Melbourne, Australia

The largest restaurant in Melbourne has decided to teach the locals how to have a rest “in the Belgian” way- under an umbrella with a glass of beer in your hand. The Australian youth gently loved this new idea: in good weather condition the tables are crammed with young people. Kitchen meets the Belgian spirit. In the menu there are both mussels, and fried potatoes, and grilled sausages- all necessity to have a big bite. Draught beer Artois, Hoegaarden, Leffe Blonde, Leffe Brune and Belle-Vue Kriek are being poured through a special item, which guarantees the best taste and the perfect foam.

While talking about the amusement parks, each of us might name only few details that make one of the parks to differ from the rest. So do you think amusement parks are different from each other only with the height of “roller coaster”? Or with the amount of the crowd? However, there are a lot of interesting theme parks that can surprise even the most carefree tourist. Let’s get through the list of the 10 most interesting ones.

Suoi Tien Park, Vietnam

Do you have any plans to visit heaven? For this reason it is not necessarily to fly into the space, you can go to Vietnam. Huge colorful park can be simply regarded as heaven, as this is the way it is seen by Buddhists. There are all miracles, you will not find anywhere else! There is an abundance of giant sacred statues of various creatures. Just imagine that one of the fantastic dragon’s head weighs no less than 300 tons! An aquarium with one and a half thousand crocodiles, Unicorn des with mythical creatures, and the gatekeepers of hell – you will find a full immersion into the world of Buddhist mythology.
The park is a simple way of getting acquainted with the Buddhism culture and the ways they perceive the world.

Crocosaurus Cove, Australia

What an excellent proposal for a family vacation – a trip into the world of crocodiles! Surely, nobody’s going to give your family members to be devoured by the bloodthirsty reptiles. The fans of the extreme sceneries are getting thrilled watching scary creatures from inside the huge crowded crocodile tank, but being protected from them with the help of a solid transparent acrylic wall. The program includes good old-fashioned fishing, during which children and the adults tease reptiles to put on hook bait.
Do not forget to go to the store to buy souvenirs made of crocodile skin! Here this kind of souvenirs can be purchased for quite a reasonable price.

Dwarf Empire, China

In the southern part of the Celestial Empire in the town of Kunming there’s a hill open for the tourist. Right on the top of the hill there is a small and very strange park. All of people working for it – from the show artists up to the cleaners are shorter than 130 centimeters. In fact, this mini-community can be described with its own emperor, empress, and even Parliament. About a hundred young people live here, in small houses. For the life of the inhabitants of Lilliput there are multiple costume plays, dances and other shows.
The place host hundreds of tourists daily and its popularity is rising with each year.

Harmony Land, Japan

All the princesses, as well as all the Hello Kitty admirers of all ages should definitely visit this amazing Japanese theme park. The list of the possible activities is enormous: a walk in the castle of friendly cats, a boat ride through the underground homes of her friends, soaring into the sky on the Ferris wheel, watching a movie with 3D-effect and of course, buying tons of cute pink souvenirs. The girlish excitement is guaranteed here.
Be sure to stay on Fantasy Night Show – a beautiful musical laser show.

BonBon-Land, Denmark

Though this park, located in the southern part of Denmark, is named in honor of the popular candy inside of it there’s not to much that can awaken the appetite. The park is crowded with images of suffering from vomiting rats, urine and other ants are not the most beloved forms of living organisms. For the lovers of sweets in the park there are a few very naturalistic candies and thus it is appropriate to note their names of “bird droppings” or “dead flies”.

However, unlike some of the disappointed parents, six years old children are just too much satisfied with such a “toilet” humor.

Dickens World, United Kingdom

Even if you’re not whiling away the winter evenings of leisurely reading the novels of Dickens, you may be interested to move to a couple of centuries ago and briefly immers in a world of hunger and poverty, to be among the beggars and fugitives. In 2007, the British opened a huge theme park, meticulously reproducing the atmosphere of the city in early XIX century.

The most popular attraction of the park is the boat trip based on the novel “Great Expectations”, while repeating Magwitch escape from the prison.

Love Land, South Korea

Situated on the southern coast of the island Haeju, this sex themed park was created in 2004 specifically to help the Korean newlyweds to explore the life of the married couples. This place was chosen not by chance: it was on this island where the locals love to spend their honeymoon. And now they are required to drive into the park to wander among the 140 sculptures and watch films about sex.
Isn’t this the best way to get the tutorials?

Ferrari World, UAE

The wonderful city of Abu Dhabi is hosting the world’s first theme park dedicated to the “Ferrari”. This is also the largest indoor park in the world: its territory is about 64 square kilometers. Inside there are 20 rides, race promoters and even the world’s fastest roller coaster, and the roof of this huge hall, of course, is decorated with the mark with a black horse on a yellow background, largest in the world. It is assumed that the grand building will open up already in late 2010.

Holy Land Experience, USA

Not far from Disneyland in Orlando, Florida is a park that can impress any ordinary person, believer and unbeliever. The entire space of the park is like a great theater, which unfolds scenes from biblical history. You can stroll through the streets of ancient Jerusalem, join the disciples for the Last Supper.
No matter how you feel about the religion, but this place will give you a desire of getting peace in the world.

Dubailand, UAE

Emirates is known for thegrandiose projects. That’ also true about Dubailand – a huge, 278 square kilometer oasis consisting of several skyscrapers, modern resorts and the world’s largest water park with luxurious beaches and unique artificial reefs. In Falcon city of Wonders you can see a very realistic reconstruction of the Seven Wonders of the World (well, at least according to the creators of Dubailand) of the Egyptian pyramids and the gardens of Babylon to Pisa and the Eiffel tower.

The majority of bars are not much different from one another. Their interiors are ultra-modern or old-fashioned, refined or democratic, but all of them sooner or later are being erased from your memory. However, if you visit at least one of these unusual bars, you will not forget this ever.

Baobab Tree Bar & Wine Cellar, South Africa

In the hollow of a huge 6000-year-old baobab tree you can not only drink a cocktail, but also rest from the suffocating heat of the Limpopo province. Once this safe heaven was known only to the Bushmen, but now this ancient tree is the object of pilgrimage for all kind of tourists. Finally the locals got the idea of setting a bar in the baobab and “decorate” it with benches and even a dartboard.

What to order: Anything in a stein.

The Birdsville Hotel and Pub, Australia

At the edge of the Simpson Desert, among the sand dunes, which is the favorite spot for the mice, there is a hotel and a pub, which have become a cult destination for all travelers. The walls of this bar, remote from civilization, are decorated with old hats and posters of beer, the oldest of which dates from 1884. Most visitors of this building are the amateur of racings. They come to this village for the September competition. However, the pub is not empty also on other months: the airstrip is located nearby, so those who arrive to this point the first thing they do after the flight, of course, are going to have a glass or two of beer.

What to order: a pint of “Queensland XXXX” brand beer.

Cave Bar, Jordan

In 2000-year-old city of Petra it’s allowed to use only one single cave for commercial issues. And guess what? Of course that’s a bar. The walls of the cave, adjacent to the Crowne Plaza Resort – is part of the ancient tombs, hollowed out many centuries ago by the Nabataeans. Tables are set as a large area outside and inside the cave, where the lights cast an ominous reddish light on the bloody walls of rough sandstone. Some tables are hidden in niches, which may be intended for individual graves.

What to order: local Jordanian red wine.

Floyd’s Pelican Bar, Jamaica

It appears that these huge palm leaves and trunks of the once fallen into the ocean of trees for a long time floated on the waves and then just caught in the pile sticking out of the ocean. That’s probably how the Pelican Bar, located about a mile from the southwest coast of Jamaica was built on. Part of its visitors that have no room to be fitted inside the bar drink, standing waist-deep in water. Do not want to get to the bar by swimming? A couple of local fishermen are always ready to take you there from the beach for a few dollars. And do not forget to immediately agree with them on the way back – you yourself will not be able to reach the shore.

What to order: cocktail Pelican Perfection, made from rum, ginger beer, lime juice and sugar.

Lagoon Bar, Iceland

Magnificent Blue Lagoon in Iceland is truly the place where you can get rid of all troubles and misfortunes. Here the soothing warmth of hot springs treats nature. Of course, next to the natural spa would have been better to arrange trade in fruits, fresh juices and yogurt, but amid this idyllic opened a wonderful bar. While you’re sitting in a milky-blue hot water, waitresses dressed in bikinis, bring you a range of cocktails.
What to order: cocktail “Blue Lagoon”, white wine and Blue Curacao.

Alux Restaurant & Lounge, Mexico

Just a short taxi ride from the beach Carmen in Mexico there is an underground bar, where you might need to go by a candlelight. Overcoming the stairs brings you to the hall, filled with stalactites and stalagmites. Alux (pronounced “ah-LOOsh») – a whole system of caves, which are now established into a restaurant, bar, VIP-lounge. People are thinking that those who will be ready to spend here a lot of time will see the mythical “little people” who, according to the ancient Maya lived in these underground shelters from ancient times.

What to order: a strange drink Aluxinante made of cucumber, orange juice and mescal.

Absolut Icebar, Sweden

Ice Baris located in the Ice hotel in the small village Yukkasyarvi in northern Sweden – a seasonal restaurant, open only from mid-September to mid-April. Of course, all over the world regularly occur more and more ice bars, it is precisely this was the first to occur every year in the same place. It is traditionally constructed of huge blocks of ice, cut down from the nearby Torne River. Despite this cold wall, the temperature inside is kept around 23 degrees.

What to order: of course, vodka Absolut! But not the pure one, but rather with cranberry juice – the national fruit of Sweden.

Cova d’en Xoroi, Spain

Bar in a cave in the cliffs above the ocean – a favorite place for recreation for local residents and tourists vacationing in the south of Minorca. According to the legend, once this cave served as a refuge for Turkish pirate who had stolen a local village girl to make her his wife. In the afternoon, habitués of the bar usually sit under umbrellas on the outdoor terrace, admiring the Balearic Islands. At night, the Cova d’en Xoroi belongs to the DJs who turn it into a disco.

What to order: Local favorite drink Pomada of gin and lemonade.

The Red Sea Star, Israel

In the Gulf near the town of Eilat is an underwater bar and restaurant. Its interior transfers visitors into the ownership of the Sea King: chairs resemble jellyfish lamps – anemones, wavy walls are surrounded with the windows from which you can watch the fish swimming by phlegmatic, butterflies, fish, angels and other inhabitants of the depths of the Red Sea.

What to order: any of the refreshing fruit cocktails decorated with umbrellas which will definitely continue the underwater theme.

Faraday Bar, Antarctica

This unusual bar is truly at the edge of the Earth- on the Antarctic island Galindez in the complex of the Ukrainian Vernadian Research Station. Apparently, the local staff needed such a place so much that they used for its construction the timber, sent by the British Government for the new shipyard (before the station was British). This bar is available not only for Ukrainian meteorologists – this will quench the thirst of any of tourist who came to the extreme south of the participants of expedition cruises.

What to order: obviously, vodka.

What is the most unwanted thing for the tourist right now? It’s the long time spent on waiting for your train to come and take you back home, as Christmas vacations are over and no one wants to be left in a station of a foreign country.

But wait a minute! After getting acquainted with our list of the best stations in the world, you’ll get the idea why some of the tourists don’t even want to get home but rather spent hours in the stations waiting for their trip to get delayed.

1.Atocha, Madrid, Spain

What is it? Mini-jungle or a botanical garden? This question is being asked by every traveler, who is having his first visit to the main railway station in Madrid. So it’s simply a station under a huge glass which makes it possible to stretch this green oasis of exotic plants and palm trees. So for some of the tourists it’s a great pleasure to have few cups of coffee waiting for a train in this tropical paradise.

2. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai, India

The historic building, listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List is now being used as the main railway station of the city of Mumbai. Originally it was called Victoria Terminus during the England ruling the country, and then was renamed in honor of national hero in India. The impressive dome, complex towers and arches make an unusual appearance from the outside, and the inside is built in the spirit of the Victorian era: the interior is decorated with wood carvings, framed by beautiful iron staircase railings. All of this reminds of the fairly-tale stories.

3. Union Station, Chicago, USA

Chicago Station is not just a place to change trains and killing time between the trains. The building, which is constructed in the style of the American Renaissance, with strict and noble classical contours is often being used as a ceremonial hall for various events. So do not be afraid if your train is delayed and you have to spend a little more time here, looking at the marble floors and brass fixtures.

4. Pickering Station, Yorkshire, United Kingdom

Not so long ago, this station in North Yorkshire has been restored, and now any traveler who stopped here can feel the charm of an old British railway station. You will see the interior of the last century with all of its antique equipments. If that is you will not be enough to move you back to the half-century back to the Yorkshire, in October it will host the annual “Military Weekend” and the locals will come to the station, dressed in the fashion of 1940’s.

5. Ushuaia Station, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina

“Station on the edge of the world” – can be read at the poster placed in front of this delicate wooden structure. Railhead Ushuaia actually located on the outskirts of the national park of Tierra del Fuego is at the extreme end of the Latin American continent. It is understandable why this place seems to be the end of the world for the prisoners who were brought here to labor camps in the beginning of the XX century.

6. Choum Station, Mauritania

Probably, at the first glance Choum seems not the most pleasant place, where you will need to pass the time while waiting. A small hut, which is the actual railway station is surrounded by others alike – ugly huts which sell tea and various foods. But look around. Compensation for such conditions will be breathtaking vision of the surrounding desert. At the same time friendly locals are always ready to entertain the tired travelers with their local tricks.

7. Tanggula Mountain, Tibet

This is the most high-altitude railway station – it is at an altitude of 5 058 meters above the sea level. In such circumstances, it is hard to breathe for those who are not familiar with this kind of heights, and that’s why the Sino-Tibetan railway carries passengers in special cars equipped with systems of oxygen supply. After leaving the train, most likely you will not meet people: it is cold and desolate terrain not like other stations in the world. But if you’re not afraid of frost, visiting the Tanggula Mountain is first of all, for the incredibly beautiful lakes and glaciers.

8. Broken Hill, Australia

As if for some of you Australia is the best place for the airports, then you should visit its railways stations to change your opinion. Old railway station in New South Wales was built in 1888 to serve as a small mining town. Today it is used mostly by tourists who want to see the picturesque region, which is mostly popular due to its huge wall paintings: the two images seem to be very realistic as if destroying the wall and enter the building from the both sides.

9. Haydarpasa, Istanbul, Turkey

East Station of Istanbul is remarkable in the way that it is surrounded by water on three of its sides and built on almost 1100 wooden piles, reinforced at the bottom of the sea. The station was built as a gift to Sultan Abdulhamidu II from the German Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1908. The building resembles Teutonic castle and looks just gorgeous. Marble steps lead to the monumental facade with a large baroque clock. If you have enough time, be sure to look in a restaurant in the east wing and admire the unusual tile decoration.

10. Divisadero Barrancas, Mexico

Probably, no other station in the world opens such a wonderful view as does this small Hispanic Station. It is the hosting place for the people traveling through the deepest canyon on the planet. Yet none of the visitors of this station make any complains about the delay in train: usually you witness the opposite scene -when the tourists are ready to watch beautiful pictures on the edge of the canyon, at an altitude from which the head is spinning for long hours. And while waiting for a train, you can refresh yourself eating cakes immediately sold by the locals – and even choose some of them to bring home as gifts.

There is no scientific method for measuring friendliness of the locals, as you can rely only on your subjective impressions and are mainly results of public surveys. Nevertheless, there are countries that are considered to be the most hospitable in the world due to specific characteristics. Thus, the most of hospitable people in the world are:

5. Georgians
According to the results of different ratings and surveys, Georgians are in the fifth place. According to Western travelers, this Caucasian country is worth of attention not only because of the stunning natural beauty of western motifs, unspoiled mountain springs and mineral waters, ancient churches, but also with cheerful and friendly locals who believe that the God is who sends guests. It is not surprising that every visitor feels like a real member in a Georgian house. While enjoying your position, you might be careful not to offend gracious hosts. For example, one of the biggest insults in Georgia is when you refuse to drink the wine offered. However, the recent actions of Georgian politicians slightly spoiled the image of Georgian hospitality, but well the politics is not a game of sample locals.

4. Iranians
Iran thinks that its most precious thing is its people. Lonely Planet calls these people “warm” and “interesting”, while the famous journalist Will Hyde that cooperates with Times, returning from a trip to Iran, wrote that the residents of this state are the most friendly people on the planet. This is something new to know as the comment was made by a public opinion influencing person. As to the data always smiling Iranians are sincere and simple. They are always ready to help travelers by offering them a cup of tea, paying for their lunch or inviting them for dinner, and even inviting to participate in the festivities: if you never visited Iran, then you cannot even assume, how hot local dancing can be!

3. Canadians
According to a study conducted by Nation Brand Index in 2008, which was held among 20 thousand adult citizens of 20 countries, Canada was chosen by the respondents to be the friendliest country from the 50 states offered in the survey. This scientific approach to selecting the most hospitable nation may seem a bit formal and not trust-worthy, but, in fact, Canadians deserve such a title. Lonely Planet was even surprised at how people living in a harsh northern climate, can be so pleasant and sociable as most of the time the conditioning goes the opposite way. After all, existing in cold countries is much more difficult, and therefore friendly, despite the cold, citizens of the maple leaf, of course, deserve this award.

2. Australians
A friendly “no worries” and a big smile are guaranteed to everyone who will be in Australia for even a short stay. Australians are very open and friendly people, and their positive thinking, combined with the friendliness allows any traveler that happened to be in that remote country, to feel as at home. As the tourists who have been to Australia mention, it is impossible for anyone to feel lonely, traveling across the Green continent: the locals are always ready to share with you a pint of beer or a cup of latte. This means that the travelling around this smallest continent will never get boring and after all you’ll have a lot of impressions to share with everybody.

1. The Irish
In the publication of the Bluelist 2008 Lonely Planet have recognized the Irish as the most friendly nation in the world. It makes little sense to discuss if the Irish are more or less welcoming than Canadians or Iranians are Irish are just different. The truth is that the citizens of the country of St. Patrick are really very nice and kind. Despite the fact that Irish are mistakenly described as those who always complain about the weather, the economic difficulties and high prices , they remain good-natured and honest people, always ready to help any tourist. And therefore, despite the inhospitable climate the pleasant nature of the inhabitants of Ireland makes this country one of the best places to travel.

However, perhaps our readers will not agree with this ranking. Everybody has his/her own list of most hospitable countries. We will be interested to hear what nationalities deserve the title of the friendliest, in your opinion.

I think each of us dreamed of spending a pleasant time enjoying the bright night sky above and the spectacular view of some city or town. The enormous joy of such a close distance to the sky adds even more interest of such a time spending. Well, but if all of this can also be accompanied with nice music and a glass of favorite drink or a unique snack then the atmosphere can truly be called ideal.

Sirocco
Bangkok, Thailand
There is no single night in Bangkok that passes by without full house at the famous bar-restaurant called Sirocco. One of the most prestigious and expensive bars in the capital of Thailand is located on the 64th floor of State Tower skyscraper. The hotel that can truly be called a skyscraper was built originally as a complex of luxury apartments for long stay guests earlier.

Sirocco is open for its visitors not only at night, so those who wish to dine in a picturesque place will hardly find a better alternative. Lunch or dinner at Sirocco can cost a pretty penny, but at the entrance you will have to pass the dress code, so you might choose an appropriate attire to be able to get in.

But it’s worth to visit this place at least once to go up to the top of the glass bar, to touch the sky and breathe the warm air of Asia. These are the memories that last a lifetime for sure.

The Penthouse
Madrid, Spain

The luxury hotel Me by Melia, which is considered to be the pride of Madrid is located in the heart of the city. The Me by Melia, in turn, has a separate “zest” – bar called The Penthouse, located on the roof became a favorite place for all tourists. Climbing up to the bar, you can see all the beauty of central Madrid. It seems impossible to think of a better location to see the area of Santa Ana.

The bar owner, Ranger Gerber, is a famous entrepreneur in the area of nightlife and the husband of Cindy Crawford. Exclusively star guests are visiting the bar. Mere mortals will be able to visit the place during the “happy hour”. The bar is, of course, working until three o’clock in the morning, but getting there after midnight is an extremely difficult task to do. The large crowds wishing to visit this place speaks for itself.

Luna Bar
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Luna Bar is one of the most interesting bars of this famous city, located on the roof of a skyscraper, with views of the twin towers and the night lights of Kuala Lumpur. Visitors to the bar at any time can plunge into the pool and in an atmosphere of 1920-30’s, which reigns in the Luna Bar decor and accessories.

Rooftop Bar
Melbourne, Australia
The British Daily Telegraph newspaper has recently published five of the most fashionable bars and nightclubs in the world. The Rooftop Bar, located at the 16th floor of Curtin House was named as one of the best one. Its doors are open to all visitors daily starting from 8pm. Rooftop Bar will especially be a good place for movie lovers. In addition to drink and delicious food, the evening program includes watching various films in the hall with a capacity of 200 people. So try to get into the top 100!

Gravity
Dublin, Ireland
In December 2000, 50 million dollars was invested in the project to restore the Guinness Storehouse. Since the architect Robinson Keefe Devane converted this room into a museum, the cradle of brand dark beer, which became one of the most recognizable brands, began to attract many more tourists from all over the world.

Founded in 1904, the seven-storey building was designed primarily for storage of ingredients for the neighborhood brewery called St.James’ Gate. But now a Gravity Bar is located on its roof. It is an indispensable para stop of visitors to the museum, where everyone can enjoy a panoramic view of Dublin. It is believed that the bar can be visited only by paying an entrance fee to the museum. But if you want to drink a mug of Guinness beer, then you can get into the bar absolutely free of charge, finding the path to a hotel elevator. Statistics show that annually Gravity bar is visited by about 570 thousand tourists.

Top Floor Bar
London, United Kingdom
Looking for a convenient place where you can avoid the whole pathos of London? Well as a solution of the problem can be suggested this -Top Floor Bar situated on the top floor of a skyscraper Swiss Re Tower. Its visitors can spend an unforgettable evening under the glass roof in the form of a cone, admiring the stunning views of the night in London.

Moon
Las Vegas, Nevada
A couple of years ago at the top of a huge entertainment center Palms in Las Vegas was opened Playboy Club, situated on the 53th floor of Palms. The sound system in the club is extremely strong, so at first some visitors don’t even feel comfortable because of the strong sound. But the charming atmosphere will make you relax afterwards for sure.

Captain Bar
Shanghai, China
This is a cool place that offers a huge selection of cocktails and offers its visitors beautiful views of the The Bund skyscraper. Located on the roof of the Captain Hostel the bar is pretty simple, but the prices do not delight the eye but do rather impress. The Captain Bar is always ready to welcome its visitors with a quiet relaxing music.

However, the only way to be on the beautiful air-conditioned section of the roof is to register in The Hudson hotel. If this option sounds good to you then go on with it.

The police of Germany demanded to prohibit the selling of alcohol at the stations of the country, especially during the period when football matches are held. Moreover, during these days the passengers will not be able to bring a drink with them even to the car. The fact is that the burden on police in the days of football games has grown in recent years. The result is that fans every now and then strive to get into a fight, especially in a state of intoxication. Having forbidden the selling of alcoholic drinks at railway stations, police hopes to at least partly avoid clashes with the football fans.

Representatives of the Unions of German police officers held talks with the largest rail carrier of Germany Duetshe Bahn and the administration of the German Football Association. Duetshe Bahn has previously said that although he is not opposed to consider the possibility of ban on alcohol, nevertheless, opposes the imposition of harsh restrictive measures. According to the company, problems with drinking may occur only on the days of mass events, and in ordinary days a bottle of beer will not bring harm to any of the passengers.

One of the leading private carriers in Germany has already announced a ban on the use of alcohol on the trains – it is Metronom, a company operating in the North of the country. From November 15, 2009 it will be banned not only to drink, but also carry glass bottles. The reason for this decision was the outrageous behavior of drunken fans in the cars.

It was calculated in Metronom, that the excesses of rowdies annually cost the company 500 thousand Euros, and that’s without counting the costs for cleaning the trains from the resulted mess. The carrier asked the passengers and found out that 4200 from 5000 travelers agreed on the need to ban alcohol on trains.

The actions of baning alcohol wasn’t invented in Germany it was . For example, in Australia, in the “great race”, being held in New South Wales, the fans were ordered to drink no more than 24 cans of beer a day, or 4 liters of wine. The police of Australia introduced such severe restrictions to protect the spectators of Bathurst 1000 from the drunken rampages of fans.

At the end of May 2009 in Rome, in the final game of the Champions League, which went to see 67 thousand tourists, fans, city authorities, the selling of alcohol was banned for almost two days beforehand. And the ban on the sale of alcohol was being acted throughout the city, including airports, train stations and other transport terminals.

In Moscow, the authorities plan to ban the sale of distilled spirits in bars and restaurants of the capital’s airports, explaining it with the fact that airport is a place of increased danger, therefore, to sell alcohol there is illegal or at least dangerous.

The term “Hostel” has a reputation of being something really that is not wishful. The first images associated with this are dirty hostel, where one can cheaply spend the night in the main hall, and this is particularly true. Most of the thousands of hostels around the world can be described with the exact description. But there are also many places, in addition to common rooms that make a unique atmosphere of ideal student hostel, where you can have a drink, dance, flirt and have fun all night until morning. And it’s extremely impossible to sleep there. But this won’t be an ideal version for those who had a long time of flying? We offer you ten of the world’s best hostels, where you can splendidly spend a sleepless night.

Surf N ‘Sun, Gold Coast, Australia
Outdoor courtyard with swimming pool offers a relaxing outdoors. Here young people who are not bothered with complexes are gathered, who love to drink and just have fun. The entrance for the parties is free, and a number of punches are provided by institutions. Parties are held every evening, regardless of the day of the week.

The Clown and Bard, Prague, Czech Republic
In the common room of the hostel, which accommodates 36 people is always full of life and joy. Going downstairs you will find a bar, where every day from seven in the evening there is a special offer of “buying two, getting the third one for free”. Here you can listen to live music performed by local bands. Four tables for a game of King are always busy and they say people often go into the cards in a way that they forget that there is quite an interesting city behind the windows. If you are thinking to live in this dorm, be sure to grab the ear plugs, because otherwise you will have to enjoy the groans of couples in neighboring beds all night, because No societal rules are enforced here.

The Flying Pig, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Hostel is famous for its excellent bar and a comfortable recreation room, and those who identify themselves with Bob Marley are the main guests of the place. The smoke of tobacco gathering all day and night is slowly getting spread through the open windows to the streets. However, if you have to leave the institution, do not worry – there are two coffee-shops on the same street.

Base, Melbourne, Australia
The most interesting place in this hostel is located at the bottom part of the hostel. It is here, where music is booming all night that does not let the guests of the bar to sleep and makes them go down and dance till they drop. The one night stand is soon turning into all night stand The owners of the hostel themselves often arrange theme parties and karaoke to entertain which results into a growing number of guests.

Loki, Cusco, Peru
The glory of the hostel, housed in a building built 450 years ago, has spread throughout South America. The sleepless nights are getting accompanied with various band concerts, karaokes and thematic parties. It is good that there is an open market, as the bar restaurant is often packed so tightly that it is simply impossible to take a turn.

Happy Guesthouse, Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Located on the shores of the lake in Phnom Penh, this hostel boasts a huge yard, where two large TV screens hang, a table for a game, a pool and beer for a dollar per cup. This place is always full of people. These are mainly those who prefer to climb to the sights at day time, and to drink beer, discussing it at night while enjoying their pool or watching a movie.

St. Christopher’s Inn, London, United Kingdom
Bar, karaoke, cheap drinks, and most importantly, a license for its sale to 4 am, make this hostel very popular with the club audience. If you desire, the party may continue in your room which is not forbidden. Recently, Wi-Fi has appeared in the hostel free for all guests which did its job by attracting more visitors.

Kabul, Barcelona, Spain
Located on La Rambla, the hostel is rather famous among regulars of nightclubs. “Happy Hour” at a local bar begins at 7 pm; just a few hours after all are awake. The audience here would prefer to start their “day” at two o’clock in the morning and then sleep until evening. If you go to bed before 5 am you definitely do not fit the atmosphere and most likely you will be called sleepy and lazy.

The Rising Cock, Lagos, Portugal
Hostel is known for the predilection of its inhabitants to drink. The day begins with a pair of glasses of beer and ends with stronger drinks. People here prefer not to waste time even to dress. If you are not ready to drink 24 hours a day, better choose another shelter for your rest.

The Pink Palace, Corfu, Greece
This is one of the most famous rave hostels of the world which is popular to the audience for its excellent theme parties and cheap ouzo at the bar. The beach is just a few minutes’ walk and you can combine excellent day vacation at sea with the night dancing at a local club “Palladium”. Hostel accommodates 300 guests and there is almost always possible to find a free bed.

The impressions left by visiting the modern aquariums, can only be described as magical, delightful, unforgettable. Think how a simple 500-liter aquarium in the mall attracts passers-by. Now imagine the same, but in million of liters, and with sharks, turtles, penguins and divers. But there are tens of constructions of this scale in the world. Let’s have a look at the best aquariums of the world.

1. Oceanário de Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal

Opened in 1998, the biggest in Europe, the Lisbon Aquarium consists of a central reservoir that is 32 to 23 meters and a volume of about 5 cubic meters, which is surrounded by four smaller reservoirs of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans as well as the inhabitants of the Arctic and Antarctic waters. In total, the aquarium contains more than 8 thousand sea creatures and 500 species of plants.

2. AQWA, Perth, Australia

The aquarium in Perth is notable for the presence of endemic Australian sea creatures collected from all over the coast of Western Australia. The main aquarium has the size of 40х20 meters and a depth of 4.5 meters. But most of all the visitors are attracted by 98-meter underwater tunnel with fully transparent walls through which you can watch the picturesque coral reefs, starfish, sharks, turtles and seals.

3. L’Oceanogràfic, Valencia, Spain

The aquarium Valencia is located in the heart of the amazing futuristic City of Arts and Sciences. This is the largest in Europe, Ocean Park, located in the open air; it covers an area of more than 110 thousand square meters. The main building in the form of water lily was designed by the renowned Spanish architect Felix Candela. 45000 fish and marine animals, which constitute the ecosystem of the Mediterranean Sea, the Arctic and Antarctic and tropical seas, live in L’Oceanogràfic.

4. The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, Okinawa, Japan

Okinawa Tyuraumi was considered the world’s largest construction of this kind before the construction of the aquarium in Atlanta. A Japanese aquarium is designed so as to best display the marine life of the Japanese islands, and is divided into three zones. First the visitors examine the world of shallow waters and coral reefs, and gradually descend deeper into the aquarium to the inhabitants of waters of warm current of Kuroshio and then to the residents of the mysterious depths, usually hidden from prying eyes.

5. The AquaDom, Berlin, Germany

Built in the 5 * Radisson SAS Hotel Berlin huge aquarium can be called the most impressive aquarium in the world. Raising in the atrium of the hotel the giant cylinder has a height of more than 25 meters and the outer diameter of 11 meters. The volume of the aquarium is nearly one million liters of water and it dwells more than 2600 species of fish with the variety of 56. Inside the cylinder a transparent two-story elevator works, slowly delivers visitors and tourists from the hall on the ground floor through the entire aquarium to the upper observation platform below the large glass dome of the hotel. Its gigantic viewing window is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s largest acrylic panel, its size is 32, 88×8.3 meters and the thickness is 750 mm. The aquarium of Dubai is part of a huge shopping and entertainment center, opened in November 2008.

7. The Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta, USA

The largest aquarium in the world with capacity of more than 31 thousand cubic meter contains more than 100 thousand inhabitants of water depths. The shape of the building resembles a huge aquarium cruise liner, divided into 60 separate aquariums. The largest makes about three-quarters of the total two whale sharks live there, which are among the largest fish in the ocean. The Aquarium in Atlanta is not only an entertainment center, which is annually visited by more than 2 million people, but also a major base for oceanographic research.

The most popular and fastest way to get to Australia is to buy a plane ticket. And the easiest way for Australians to see the world is to leave the continent on the airliner. However, you will have to fly long and in this situation the behavior of neighbors in the cabin strongly influences the holiday mood. Chatterbox-neighbor can ruin your whole vacation and a child, kicking his chair, would eclipse all the positive memories of the Bahamas. Therefore, it is in Australia that travel industry specialists figured out how passengers should behave to safely and quietly reach the airport arrivals area.

1. Do not tilt the chair back too sharply, especially if flight attendants have just handed out food and drinks.

2. You need to eat accurately, without making extra sounds, so as not to attract the attention of a neighbor.

3. Especially it is not recommended to take off shoes and socks. Not everybody is accustomed to their delicate flavor.

4. By the way, about the smell – emit gases is admitted in the toilet. Too many people find the process and the sounds accompanying it, an insult, and not a pretext to start a pleasant conversation.

5. Regarding the conversation – you should not talk loudly with friends, sitting in different parts of the cabin. Go to each one. Such attention will certainly be appreciated more by everyone rather than if you call.

6. During the flight do not try to discuss with a neighbor sleeping or listening to music even if you want to talk about such an interesting subject like UFOs. There is a possibility that, he will decide that this is an apocalypse, and will suddenly open the emergency door?

7. While listening to music, do not do it too loud, sing, whistle, and stamping to the beat. In the lounge there may be real aggressive and adherents of other genres of music.

8. If you want to sleep, make sure that you will not wake up on the shoulder of your neighbor. Who knows how your neighbor will understand the situation.

9. If the neighbor is sleeping, but you need to go to the toilet, then you should try to be cautious, not to stepp on someone else’s feet.

10. By the way, if you know that you will have to run around the end of the passenger compartment very often, then it is better to ask to shift with places, in advance.

11. You should stretch in a chair carefully not to disturb the neighbors in the back and front.

12. It is unacceptable to kick the front seat and rest against it with knees. And also fold your legs, hands and other body parts on it. Angry passengers can tear them.
